More Advice: Supplements and Outlines

MORE ADVISE:

- sign up for BarBri...they give you a First Year Review book that is helpful (it has general outlines and practice questions that help give you strong foundation for the basics)
- Civ Pro and Con Law...get the Essays and Explanations books to help you learn the concepts in plain English
- Kastely is a UCC fanatic...read the Hornbook for this class available for FREE at the library
- the Emmanuel Flashcards for Civ Pro and Mather's property class are also helpful
- buy a good outline from Quick Copy or get one from a 2L or a 3L...BUT REMEMBER that making your own outline is better than just using someone else's
- DO NOT get too many supplements and outlines that you are overloaded with information...choose what is best and most efficient for you
- talk to as many 2Ls and 3Ls as possible for advice about profs, exams, study aides, etc...law school is a pay it forward setting

I will not be there for orientation because I will be going home for a week BUT I will be there Aug 22 to help out as much as I can. Good luck on your first year!

BarBri is like Kaplan but it teaches students how to pass the bar. There will be BarBri stations in the halls of the law classroom buildings the entire first month so you will have ample opportunities to sign up.

I have an extra copy of Glannon's "Examples and Explanations" for Civ Pro (required for sec A) Lists on Amazon for $37.

And an extra copy of Emmanuel's "Constitutional Law" Lists on Amazon for $32.

I'd take $20 for each.

Both are brand spankin' new.
