Mi Tierras Tuesday Night

For those of you that didn't read the post from a month ago, about thirty or so of us are meeting at Mi Tierras tomorrow night. The time is 8:00 and the map is posted somewhere on this blog. If you can't find it the web site is www.mitierracafe.com. Looks like we have a busy week of drinking to do, see you there.

Mi Tierra is a great place. For all of you downton party people, Mi Tierra is open 24hrs. For you day time touristy types, it's in the market square where you can buy gun holsters for your beer bottles and virgin mary statues. there is also alot of good music during the day (mariachis, andean panpipe experts).
my favorite dish is the machaca breakfast.

Sounds like there might be a few alchoholics in the 1L class.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I just figured a town that hosts Fiesta, which seems to be a bit like mardi gras, would be less uptight about alcohol. Sometimes you need a drink at 2:15 a.m.

Ciudad Acuna is just two hours away. The Corona Club closes at 4 a.m., but Boys Town is slinging tiny beers and brandy set-ups when the sun comes up.

I charge 6 beers an hour if you need an interpreter in boystown.

That's what the fridge is for. I keep a case or two in the crisper for special occasions.

Is this only open to 1LS or can we bring someone along with us?

I'd say the more the merrier. It would be pretty hard to fill up Mi Tierras and if we do there are plenty of bars within a mile radius.

I think every section of San Antonio got a taste of StMU 1Ls last night. We spread out and conquered many a-places. Damn, what a fun group we are! Had a blast! Parties til 5 am are always good. And I was the first to head out the door!

Looking forward to the rest of the week.

Yeah, thank goodness for big crispers hiding the last beer. I had a great time meeting everyone, and I am looking forward to orientation. Thanks for putting this together Daniel.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to pass on the other drinking oportunities this week. Hope the rest of you have fun.

I am a little disappointed Drama did not show. Damn troll.

beer ran out early (in hindsight, fortunately) so it was shots and Drano chasers.

"not in 100 years?" - So you're saying there's a chance? - Name the movie this paraphrase came from.

Jordan, you need to translate your posts for me. I'm as lost as a 1L not from SA trying to figure out that I-10 runs East/West and not North/South.

Mike, You asked which movie not in 100 years was from, right? Well, it is "Down with Love."
